“The crag”
Lagada…..one of the most spactacular and famous crags in Greece. First bolted in 1999, the crag is located in the gorge of Lagada that rips mountain Taygetos and connects Laconia and Messenia regions. At the altitude of 800m above sea level, the crag is perfect for summer climbing. There are 4 different sectors and 100 routes from 5a to 8b. The beauty of the crag is unique and it cannot be described with words. It almost seems like a man-made sculpture! And after a long day on the rocks, one dive in the cold pools of Knakion river is enough to refresh the appetite for climbing!
